Coincidentally I am making a chicken run too. It had not crossed my mind to cover it. Perhaps I should.
I'm using these instructions (see lowever down page) and am just waiting on a staple gun before stapling the chicken wire to the posts and then increasing our flock from three to six.

In retrospect a cover (at least partial) might not be a bad idea.

Saying that, I put in at the Mills (not the trout pool!) and at Barcombe's Anchor Inn (opposite bank).

There is waste corrugated iron on most farms and small holdings around here. All you need to do is ask someone. I was collecting some well-rotted-manure from a place near Fairwarp yesterday where they had some (I did ask for you teacher, but the owner was not around.
